Akien's gift wishlist

---

(Last update: 12/06/04)

This section is here because some people asked. As far as the content, I’m not expecting to get all these things, a few of them are quite expensive. But the answer is always no if you don’t ask!

Mostly, my wishlist is pretty specific, because we already have so much stuff that we’re trying to get rid of stuff, not get more. In general, with my work situation being unclear, $$$ is a better gift.

Items can be new or used. I'm not picky. Amazon often carries used items, if there's a choice, I'm OK with the used item.

So, here’s what I’ve been able to think of:

Stuff for our events: (the fact that this section appears first is not accidental)

*      StrongLite Massage table (27" width, 3" foam, purple, crossbrace; ~$700)

*      LED Flame Lamp ($29.95) (Getting 2 of these would be cool for our parties)

*      ColorKinetics LightSaucer ($16.99, 3/$47.00)

*      ColorKinetics LightWasher ($19.50, 3/$55.00)

Stuff that's really just for me:

*      Dan Millman Peaceful Warrior workout DVD ($39.95)

*      3Watt CR123 Flashlight (very cool) ($38.50)

*      Bear Kilt ($100, casual "bear cut"; poly-viscose; see below for sizes; black-watch and/or warrior and/or Lindsay)

*      Ben Wyvis Kilt, tartan:Ben Wyvis Thistle (£249.99 – this is a formal kilt)

*      Really expensive flashlight ($119)

*      Strider Ranger sword belt ($144)

*      My Amazon CD & book list In particular, the stuff by:

·        ELO (Especially ‘Time')

·        Chris DeBurgh (Especially ‘The Love Songs Album’)

*      100% Cotton mandarin collar shirts (XL or 17" neck, 42+" chest. Prefer white, black, purple, blue, hunter green, red… not yellow or orange.)

*      Some items from International Male:

·        Pants ($49.99)

*      Folkwear Kilt Pattern ($19.95)

For me, but also kinda for the family or the house:

*      Roof rack for Honda Accord 91 Wagon

*  The Compound Miter Chopsaw ($89) that would do, or the Sliding Compound Miter Chopsaw (~$600) that I'd really like to have.

*  Electric Mulching Lawnmower ($250-$400) (the one we have isn't a mulching mower)

My measurements:

Kilts: waist 36" hip 39" length 21"

Shirts: XL or 17" neck; sleeve average, around 34", 42" chest

Pants: Jeans 33" waist, 31" inseam

Shoes: Mens 8.5, Womens 10 ½ Wide (10 will usually do)
